Who are we?

Thank to Allah who blessed us with Islam and has accomplished it by The dress of faith in Him, His angels, His books, and His messengers; then, so many thanks to Allah for His unnumbered benefaction.

Thereafter,  The responsible people of this site, directors, supervisors, and members, are united by the Holy Word: There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah ( peace and prayers of Allah be upon him)..while others are united by nationalism, fanaticism, and countries…they are aggregated by the creed and tolerant faith in which the messenger of Allah peace and prayers of Allah had said, ' I have left you settling on the right path its night is similar to its day, and everybody  would deviate from it, will be ruined'.

Allah Almighty has said in the Holy Qur'an, ))Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind. Enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the people of the book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.)) ((  Surah  Ali Imran ( the family of Imran), 2: 110 )))

His Almighty has said: ((  Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best  and most gracious; for thy Lord knoweth best,  who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance  )),         (( Surah Al-Nahl ( The Bees) 16: 125  ))

It is true that the nation of Islam is the best nation that is evolved to mankind, and thus, one can understand that  it has been existed to preach people to come back to Allah and to do the utmost for the sake of raising the Holy Word: there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. His Almighty has said,                  ((  I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve me. No sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed me. For Allah is He Who gives (all) sustenance, - Lord of Power,- Steadfast ( for ever). )), (((  Surah 51: Thariat ( that winds that scatter), 56-58  )))                   From this springboard, we are here in order to invite the non-Muslims to Islam by the use of wisdom and beautiful preaching through this worldwide internet for we can achieve to everybody in the world whether s/he is in her/his house, work, and even in the place of its prayer or entertainment. We adopt a good style to discuss with her/her, and debate with her/him by her/his language and the way s/he likes to. We talk to the businessmen and capitalists about the financial deal in Islam. We present to the woman her status in Islam which has kept her dignity and prestige  adding to her tangible and intangible rights. As is the case, we clarify to those who suffer from social disassembly the rights and the duties of each person towards the other person in the society. We expound to the propagandist of democracy the obligations and the rights of the governor towards his/her people as well as the rights and obligations of the people towards their governor; and so far, these examples are scanty pictures of a huge abundance of great facts in Islam.

What about the method that the invitation will go ahead through this worldwide internet and specifically this site, it will be accomplished by many ways. It will be mentioned some certain examples to give a hint to our method in the herewith:

1-       mailing the groups of Yahoo, the MSN, Google through the registration in these groups and endorsing what it fits them by the use of Islamic subjects.

2-       Entering to the sites of the different discussions and debating the non-Muslims as well as the refutation of the fabricated lies against Islam

3-       The gathering of emails and sending personal emails.

4-       Answering every comment or inquiry is coming as a result of these emails. Not to mention that there are other projects and several ideas ….and all of this will come to life by dint of Allah and His blessings.

Finally, Thank to Allah the Lord of the world.

Dear respectful sisters and brothers, we are now in the beginning and are in sore need to all the generous young energies so as to prevail this call to the right religion. It would be rather to point out to the fact that each Muslim – male or female- is able to participate in building this missionary edifice has to call people to come back to Allah regardless of her/his little capacities in this fieldwork. We actually have an appropriate work for each person. As we have a complete tendency to help who is willing to participate in this missionary project to perform whatever s/he is willing to work out as good as s/he can.

This work does not require a lot of time or effort….. it might not require more than one hour or two hours weekly…so will we be mean by giving such few time to perform this holy duty…? The invitation to Allah is the most noble act one can ever do in one's life. Allah Almighty has said,   ((  Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, " I am of those who bow in Islam"? )) ,         ((  Surah Fussilat  41:33  ))   So why don't we consecrate this work, and Allah Almighty favors it to any other work?? Why don't we glorify it, postpone our appointments and delay our parties?? Why don't we consecrate it and take a vacation from all our duties for the sake of Allah and His messenger? Why do we make the invitation to Allah a secondary work after our other works in the mundane life? Why don't make the invitation to Allah first of all? …does not it deserve ??!!! I swear by the name of Allah that it deserves so if only you know…………

Truly sisters and brothers, you will have the luscious taste that is above all and will be working out the day that you hear from the administration of the forum that a person whom we have been mailing or debating has converted to Islam, and therefore, has named himself Muhammad or Abdu'Llah……….Deity by Allah, at that special time, one will feel the deep delight that we won't feel it in any other case….and by the will of Allah, we will remind you of it at the due time.

Dear sisters and brothers! Let's take the pledge that we will do our utmost and make sacrifice of the most cherished and the most expensive matters we might have during this Holy work….and if we do not sacrifice ….Who will make that sacrifice?? And if we do not give generously right here, when will we give it??  We wish to you all the goodness in life and may Allah accept from us and you all the good deeds …so we can be gathered all in the blissful paradise.  May peace, mercy, and the blessings of Allah be upon you.

All I have to say is all what you know already, to confirm what you already know, the message of the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam"peace be upon him") as given by God - the Religion of Truth. As human beings we are given a consciousness and a duty that has placed us at the top of creation. Man is created to be God's deputy on earth, and it is important to realize the obligation to rid ourselves of all illusions and to make our lives a preparation for the next life.

The simplicity of Islam, the powerful appeal and the compelling atmosphere of its mosques, the earnestness of its faithful adherents, the confidence inspiring realization of the millions throughout the world who answer the five daily calls to prayer --- these factors attracted me from the first. But after I had determined to become a follower of Islam, I found many deeper reasons for confirming my decision. The mellow concept of life -- fruit of the Prophet's combined course of action and contemplation --- the wise counsel, the admonitions to charity and mercy, the broad humanitarianism, the pioneer declaration of woman's property rights - these and other factors of the teachings of the man of Mecca were to me among the most obvious evidence of a practical religion so tersly and so aptly epitomized in the cryptic words of Muhammad, "Trust in God and tie your camel". He gave us a religious system of normal action, not blind faith in the protection of an unseen force in spite of our own neglect, but confidence that if we do all things rightly and to the best of our ability, we may trust in what comes as the Will of God.

[This document originally appeared in a Usenet newsgroup back in 1992 roughly -ed.]

    Salaam alaykum wa rahmatullah.

Since I have started reading and posting on this newsgroup a few months ago, I have noticed a great interest in converts (reverts) to Islam: how are people introduced to it, what attracts people to this faith, how their life changes when they embrace Islam, etc. I have received a lot of e-mail from people asking me these questions. In this post, I hope insha'Allah to address how, when and why an American like myself came to embrace Islam.

I am a new Muslim. I am writing to tell you 'why' I converted to Islam, but it's going to be more like 'how.'

Last year, at the age of 23, I was trying to open an import/export company to sell children's books overseas. Much thought went into my decision to work with Saudi Arabia above any other country. After contacting the Saudi Arabia Commercial Office at the Royal Embassy in Washington DC, I learned that all contracts with my sponsor must be in Arabic to be binding.

My conversion to Islam began in my eighth grade year. There was a Muslim student by the name of Raphael who first told me a little about Islam. At the time he was not so knowledgeable about Islam, but he put the initial interest in my mind which never went away.

In the ninth grade there was another student by the name of Leonard who claimed at one time or another that he was a Muslim but he was more or less a 5 percenter. The one thing he did do was to give me a pamphlet on true Islam which increased my interest in Islam. I didn't hear much more about Islam until my tenth grade year

I was born in an ordinary , non-religious Swedish home, but with a very loving relationship to each other. I had lived my life 25 years without really thinking about the existence of God or anything spiritual what-so-ever; I was the role model of the materialistic man.

Or was I? I recall a short story I wrote in 7th grade, something about my future life, where I portray myself as a successful games programmer (I hadn't yet even touched a computer) and living with a Muslim wife!! OK, at that time Muslim to me meant dressing in long clothes and wearing a scarf, but I have no idea where those thoughts came from. Later, in high school, I remember spending much time in the school-library (being a bookworm) and at one time I picked up a translated Qur'an and read some passages from it. I don't remember exactly what I read, but I do remember finding that what it said made sense and was logical to me.

Assalamalaikum brothers and sisters and non Muslims.

First off all, I would like to start by saying that this true story is not for my own fame or admiration but for the sake of my Lord and your Lord Allah. All praises due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, the Beneficent, the Merciful Owner of the day of judgement. I would like to repeat to you something I heard: the journey of a thousand miles has to start with the first step and this is the first part of my journey.
